personal reflections
A place for conversations and reflections that begin in ordinary life.
Some reflections begin with a question I have been sitting with for some time. Others begin much closer to the moment itself… in a conversation, a reaction, something I notice in my body, or an ordinary experience that asks me to pay attention.
These are spoken and written reflections that begin in lived experience and follow what becomes visible through it. They may move through questions of attention, relationship, conditioning, identity, spirituality, or practice, but the intention is not to turn every experience into a lesson.
It’s to remain close enough to life to notice what it may be revealing.
The spiritual life doesn’t exist apart from being human. This is a place for meeting the practice where our feet are actually on the ground.
What August Taught Me
August reminded me that endings aren’t empty. They’re full of sparks waiting to ignite. What rose in me wasn’t despair but curiosity, courage, and the reminder that wounds can be creative fire.
