practices

ways of slowing down, gathering attention, and returning.

we are always practicing something.

Practice isn’t limited to what we intentionally do on a mat, a cushion, or at a particular time of day. It’s also what we repeatedly establish through the way we breathe, move, attend, relate, and respond.

The practices gathered here offer different ways of becoming more conscious of that participation.

Some begin with the breath. Some begin with movement. Others begin by becoming still enough to observe where attention has gathered.

They aren’t offered as ways of escaping experience or producing a particular state. They are invitations to slow down, listen more closely, and develop a more conscious relationship with what is already happening.

You don’t need to begin with the most advanced practice.

Begin with the practice that helps you meet where you are.
